Welcome to the EN chat thread! Due to the nature of the Off-Topic forums, we figured it would be best to make a general chat thread for people to talk about whatever they want and for us to get to know each other better.

However, just know that this thread is not a free-for-all spam central. While you are allowed to talk about whatever you wish, the discussion must still follow the rules of the forum, so be sure you don't violate any of the forum rules while posting here. In case you need a refresher, you can find the General Rules here, and the Off-Topic rules here. It is highly suggested you read both before posting here or anywhere else.
Otherwise, feel free to post whatever you like. Got something to share? Want to tell us how your day went? Want to post something but don't want to make a thread about it? Just want to chat? That's what this thread is for. Anyone can post, newbies, oldbies and anyone in-between, so don't be shy!
Always follow the forum rules: [General Forum Rules] - [Off-Topic Rules].

1. Do not post "questionable content," meaning anything inappropriate. If you think it might be too racy for the thread, either don't post it or message a Sentinel (through in-game means or IRC) to get their approval.

2. Do not flame/start arguments. This thread is for chatting, not fighting. If you have a problem with a user you can report their posts, contact a Sentinel, or settle the disagreement privately.

3. Do not spam. Spam means single-emoticon posts, posting in rapid succession (see: Double posting), posting things that don't make sense (see: sfljkhadfghlagdfljkhaegr2323wss') or posting the same thing over and over. This includes meme images and other "funny" pictures. We have a thread to post pictures in, we suggest you use it.

4. Do not put more than 5 images in your post; it lags people browsers, so be considerate.

5. Do not post huge images! If an image cannot be seen properly through the forum itself then please link it instead.

6. If you ever see someone violating the rules it would do the Sentinels a great service if you reported the post. It seems this thread will be moving quite rapidly at times, so it may be difficult for us to moderate every single page. Do your part.

7. If you are a foreign user you are allowed to post here as long as you can speak fluent English. Google Translate is not acceptable; if you have trouble speaking English you will be asked to leave.

8. THERE IS NO FLOOD/SPAM WAR. The point of this thread is NOT to "get as many thread pages as possible." There is no competition for the longest thread, so do not post here just to say "our thread is longer" or try to engage in a "flood war."

9. This thread is for chatting with a diverse group of people. This means that if there is already a thread for the subject you're posting about, feel free to use it. We don't mind little side discussions about it but if it begins to hinder any other discussion opportunity we will ask you to move it to the already made thread. If a subject doesn't have a thread you're free to make one.
